Iran finds way to neutralize US’ 'Internet in a Suitcase'

28 November 2011 [20:01] - TODAY.AZ
Iran has found the way of neutralizing the United States' 'Internet in a suitcase plan', IRIB quoted Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi as saying.

In June, the New York Times reported that the American covert projects include creating independent cell phone networks in foreign countries, as well as the "Internet in a suitcase" program.

'Internet in a suitcase', which could be secretly smuggled across a border, contains all the necessary hardware and networking devices to promptly establish a wireless network over a large area that can connect to the global Internet.

"The Iranian Intelligence Ministry predicted the U.S. plan and found the ways of preventing it," he said. However, Moslehi withheld further details about Iran's neutralization of 'Internet in a suitcase plan'.
