IRGC commander threatens U.S.

09 November 2011 [11:51] - TODAY.AZ
Aerospace Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Amir-Ali Hajizadeh has threatened the U.S. to retaliate against remarks of former U.S. military commander for the targeted assassination of members of the IRGC Qods Force.

"You should not forget that U.S. military commanders are frequently present in Afghanistan, Iraq and other regional countries," he said. "So, if you kill one of us, we will kill tens of yours."

Hajizadeh added that the U.S. and the Zionist regime, which had the upper hand after the 9/11 attacks, did not dare to attack Iran. So, dominating Iran is a 'wishful thinking' in the present situation. The U.S. and the West are grappling with internal and external problems.

According to Firstpost, at the committee, the U.S. retired four-star general who helped plan the U.S.-led occupation of Iraq, Jack Keane, called for to kill leaders of Iran's Qods Force in retaliation for their alleged role in a plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to Washington. The claim was vehemently denied by Iranian officials.
