Iran tests advanced radar system

Iran tested an advanced model of a domestically built long-range radar system, the Fars News Agency reported, quoting managing director of Sa-Iran Ebrahim Mohammadzadeh.

"Iran successfully tested the new radar system which can detect objects at a range of several thousand kilometers. We hope the model will be operational in the coming years", he said.

Sa-Iran, a company that develops industrial, telecommunication, and military equipment, plans to continue construction of long rage radars

Iran ’s Defense Ministry plans to start several air and naval defense projects, and on Tuesday will showcase a cruise missile, torpedo system, and a marine engine built by the Iranian defense industry.
