Quake jolts NW Iran

A tremor measuring 4.2 on Richter scale jolted surrounding areas of Oshnaveyeh in Iran's West Azerbaijan province on Friday afternoon, IRNA reported.

According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 17:01 hours local time ( 3:31 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 37.01 degrees latitude and 45.07 degrees longitude.

There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
