Heavy snowfall hits eastern Turkish cities

Weather Service officials in Erzurum said that the province would continue to receive snowfall during the day.

At least 15 village roads have been closed to motor vehicles traffic in Erzurum.

Road crews are trying to clear the roads off snow.

Temperatures in Erzurum dropped to minus 2 degrees Celsius and in Ardahan to minus 1 degree Celsius on Tuesday night.

Snowfall in eastern Anatolia will continue until the weekend, told weather experts.
