Large-scale pardon scheduled for Easter in Georgia

Prisoners have already submitted their applications to the pardon commission.

The commission intends to hold a special session on Easter eve and present proper recommendations to the president of Georgia.

The commission will specify the number of prisoners, who will be released from prisons for Easter. As reported, some prisoners will be released before the appointed time as well.
