Georgian side calls Moscow's accusations due to delay of Moscow-Tbilisi flights groundless

30 December 2009 [10:21] - TODAY.AZ
The Georgian side called Moscow's accusations due to delay of air flights Georgia-Russia unclear and groundless.
Russia applied to Georgia without observing necessary rules because diplomatic relations between the two countries were broken two years ago. The sides can negotiate officially only under mediation of Swiss embassy, Georgian deputy foreign minister Nino Kalandadze told media.

"Despite it, the Georgian side immediately reacted on possible making air flights after it got notification from the Russian side," Kalandadze said.

She said the notification was sent Dec.28. The same day the Georgian side replied the Swiss embassy and Airzena company.

Kalandadze said the talks on making air flights were held between private companies. They were not held at a state level.
