Masked man carrying gun detained near White House

An armed wearing a mask was detained in Washington near the White House after a struggle with law enforcers, Sputnik Intetnational reported.

The service's officer noticed a man with a handgun and detained the masked person.

The man was charged with carrying weapons without license and resisting arrest, the media outlet added.

According to the newspaper, the incident occurred at about 1 p.m. local time.
