Kazakh president arrives in Uzbekistan

Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev has arrived in Samarkand province to pay tribute to Uzbekistan’s first President Islam Karimov, read a message posted on the website of Akorda (presidential palace of Kazakh president).

During the visit, Kazakh president will lay flowers at Karimov’s grave and meet with his family members.

Nazarbayev will also meet with Uzbekistan’s acting president Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
