Turkey supports Kazakhstan in fighting terrorism – Erdogan

Turkey supports Kazakhstan in the fight against terrorism, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a joint press conference in Ankara with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, TRT Haber reported Aug. 5.

Erdogan said Kazakhstan is a very important country for Turkey.

“Kazakhstan is a strategic partner of Turkey, and Ankara cherishes relations with Kazakhstan,” said Erdogan.

He also said that Kazakhstan is a door to Central Asia for Turkey.

President of Kazakhstan arrived in Turkey Aug. 5.
