An armed attack on a police station took place in the southeastern province of Agri, Turkey, the Turkish newspaper Sabah said Sept.9.
No injuries as the result of the attack were reported, but the building of the police station got badly damaged, according to the newspaper.
A bus carrying police officers has been blown up in Turkey’s Igdir province Sept.8.
Reportedly, twelve representatives of the security forces were killed as a result of the explosion.
Following the explosion, Turkish armed forces kicked off a large-scale operation against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Igdir province.
