9 mln illegal workers there in Turkey

Around 37 percent of the total number of working people in the country work without official registration, which is 9.6 million people, the Turkish Statistics Institute said today.

As of late April 2013, Turkey's officially working population hit 25.7 million people.

Around 52.6 percent of women work in Turkey without official registration.
