04 July 2013 [15:00] - TODAY.AZ
Turkish Parliament's Committee on Human Rights appealed to the Egyptian army with a call to return power to the country's president, the Anadolu agency reported on Thursday.

The appeal of the Parliament said that a military coup in Egypt is inadmissible, the agency reported.

The command of the Egyptian armed forces made a statement on Monday. It demanded that all political forces are to meet the people's requirements within 48 hours; otherwise the country's armed forces intend to announce an ''action map'' which will be carried out under their supervision in order to overcome the crisis.

On Wednesday after the expiration of the ultimatum, the Egyptian army ousted the country's president from office and he was taken to the building of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the Egyptian media outlets, the president will be under house arrest.

The arrests of supporters of president Mohammed Morsi were continuing in Egypt on Thursday, Al Jazeera channel reported.

According to the channel, at the moment more than a hundred supporters of the president were arrested.
