The reward for information leading to the arrests and indictments of those responsible for shooting 19 people on Mother’s Day in New Orleans has grown to $10,000, officials said.
Crimestoppers said on Sunday night it would double its usual reward to $5,000, while the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms is offering an additional $5,000.
Police are looking for three people who were seen leaving the area of Frenchmen and North Villere streets just after the shots were fired, about 1:45 p.m.
They did not announce a motive or who may have been the target of the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. Callers can remain anonymous and still qualify for the reward.
