US President Barack Obama said Tuesday that although there is evidence of chemical weapons use in Syria, it remains unclear when and how they were used, dpa reported.
He said he had to "make sure I've got the facts" before taking any action in Syria related to chemical weapons use after earlier saying chemical weapons use would be "game changer."
"We don't want that genie out of the bottle," Obama told a press conference at the White House, but stopped short of outlining what additional steps the US might take as Washington engages with the international community on the Syrian conflict.
