
The Georgian Defense Minister has left for Hungary on an official visit.
The Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend on Wednesday, Irakli Alasania will meet with his counterpart Csaba Hende.
The parties will discuss issues of Georgian-Hungarian cooperation. The discussions will also touch upon participation in the ISAF mission and relations between Georgian and the EU.
Alasania and Hende will sign a memorandum on cooperation of the two countries in the military sphere. A joint press conference is also scheduled.
Within the official visit, the Defense Ministry's delegation will visit the Hungarian parliament and an air base. Alasania is also scheduled to make a speech at the National University of Hungary.
The visit will end on April 5.
