Finance Ministry of Georgia eshuffled

An enlarged meeting of the Advisory Council chaired by the Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri was held in the Finance Ministry of Georgia, during which the Minister presented some of his personnel decisions.

George Tabuashvili has been appointed as First Deputy Finance Minister. Lasha Khutsishvili has been appointed as the head of the Revenue Service on the proposal of the Finance Minister and by the order of the Prime Minister. Tsotne Kavlashvili has been appointed as head of the Treasury Service.

The meeting also discussed the reforms that the Finance Ministry plans to carry out in 2013. Heads of the Ministry's departments submitted action plans.

The Finance Ministry also continues to work on a long-term strategy of development of economy and budgetary processes.
