Russian FM breaks his arm in Turkey

 Russian FM Sergei Lavrov has broken his arm after falling down stairs in the hotel in which he is staying during his official visit to Istanbul. Lavrov was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A cast has been put on his arm. He left the hospital at 18:30 (Turkish time).

 Lavrov accompanied President of Russia Vladimir Putin during his visit to Turkey yesterday. He must attend the ministerial meeting of Russia-NATO Council today.
