Tbilisi, EU to mull visa-free regime

Delegations of the Eastern Partnership, the Balkans and Poland will arrive in Tbilisi and will discuss visa-free regime with the EU with their Georgian colleagues.

The meeting will be held on Thursday. Possible establishing of visa-free regime and the country's experience will be discussed. The coalition, which includes organizations of Poland, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, monitors an Action Plan on visa regime liberalization and will discuss the coalition's strategy.

The Action Plan has been already transferred to Moldova and Ukraine. Non-governmental organizations of these countries already monitor these documents.

During the meeting a brief analytical document called Policy Brief will be developed.
Transferring the Action Plan on visa liberalization to Georgia is an important step towards a visa-free regime with the EU.
