Azeri company constructs new district in Tbilisi

Tbilisi to begin construction of a new district "Dirsichala. It will build on the waterfront of Kura by the Azerbaijani company "AS Group Investment".

About 2000 people will be employed on the construction, and after the launch here will work 1500 Tbilisi citizens.

The complex will have a single architectural style and consists of 22 well-appointed homes.

In the territory, which will be equipped as a social-business and recreation area, there will be children's and sports grounds, shopping and entertainment venues. The complex also includes two schools and two kindergartens.

The apartments will be sold in its final form - with plumbing, kitchen, telephone and Internet. Those who want to buy apartments will enjoy 8% mortgage loans.

Construction was inspected on Monday by Tbilisi mayor Gigi Ugulava.
