Georgia's city flooded

Georgian port city of Poti in the west of the country was flooded as a result of heavy rain.
Central streets, shops, which were in the basement, were flooded.

Vegetable gardens of many local residents, as well as small livestock were affected.

Free movement of vehicles on the roads was impossible as a result of flooding.

Rescuers and fire trucks, which pumped out water from buildings and private homes worked all the night.

There were no casualties. Infrastructure was severely damaged, and the citizens were affected.

Damages caused by flooding are being calculated at present.
