Tbilisi to host Int'l Silk Road Conference

Seventh International Conference of the Silk Road - Sustainable economic development of countries of Eurasia, Challenges and Prospects will be opened on Friday in Tbilisi.

The Ministry of Education of Georgia said the conference that will be held on May 25-26, to be opened in the hotel Sheraton Metekhi Palace and will be continued at the Batumi State University named after Shota Rustaveli.

The event will be attended by representatives from Georgia, Turkey, USA, Azerbaijan, Poland, Czech Republic, Iraq and Russia. The theory of economic policy and business, and practical examples, international trade and cooperation, business education, globalization and the modern economy, history and culture, social and geopolitical challenges, tourism and investment will be discussed.

The Ministry of Education said the event promotes the exchange of scientific approaches as well as the definition of perspectives in order to promote sustainable economic development in the countries of Eurasia and the awareness of society.
