'No obstacles to development of Iran-Turkey relations '

Iran sees no obstacles to the development of relations with Turkey, Iranian Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlou said during a meeting with Turkish Economic Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz, who is on an official visit to Tehran, ISNA reported on Tuesday.

According to Saeedlou, economic and strategic cooperation between the two countries not only serve the interests of Iran and Turkey, but also contributes to the development of the entire region. Being aware of this, some forces try to prevent the development of relations between Tehran and Ankara, Saeedlou said.

In turn, Yilmaz said that Turkey and Iran discussed strengthening of cooperation in the sphere of transportation, as well as use of ports.
