Russia warns Turkey

18 May 2012 [17:56] - TODAY.AZ
Russia warned Turkey, said Russian Foreign Ministry’s representative Alexander Lukashevich at the briefing today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

According to him, Russia considers it unacceptable to hold anti-Russian events threatening Russia’s territorial integrity and clouding relations between the two countries: “The opinions against Russia were sounded in the “Caucasus Forum” event held in Istanbul on May 12-13. Terrorist Doku Umarov’s calling, opinions as struggling against Russia and its partners, which can shadow Russia-Turkey relations, were sounded at the event. In addition, Turkey didn’t pay attention to this event. It afflicted us very much. We want the Turkish officials not to allow such events. Such events can abrade Russia-Turkey relations”.

Lukashevich noted that the opinions were sounded at another meeting on commitment of genocide against the Circassians by Russians: “It was decided in the conference to establish Congress of Caucasus Peoples against Russian occupation. All these damage Moscow-Ankara relations”.
