Azerbaijani FM meets Baden-Württemberg prime minister

The sides recalled President Ilham Aliyev's meetings in the Baden-Württemberg as part of his Germany visit two years ago and described it as a major factor giving impetus to Azerbaijan-Baden- Württemberg cooperation.

Günther Oettinger said Baden-Württemberg is keen on developing ties with Azerbaijan. He stressed the need to implement a number of projects. He said there is the opportunity for Azerbaijani students to pursue their studies in higher educational institutions of Baden-Württemberg.

He stressed the importance of organizing Culture Days of Baden-Württemberg for deepening relationship.

Minister Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan and Baden-Württemberg have shared interests in implementing concrete projects to deepen bilateral ties.

Mammadyarov stressed the importance of cultural events to strengthen contacts between the two peoples. Foreign Minister said organizing Culture Days of Baden-Württemberg in Azerbaijan would be useful for popularizing the federal state in Azerbaijan.
