The European Union is ready to assist with implementation of the agreement that will be signed between the parties to the Karabakh conflict.

Head of the EU Troika delegation and Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said at a news conference in Yerevan.
“EU stands ready to assist with the implementation of the agreement which we hope can be signed as soon as possible on the issue of Karabakh settlement, for which we assist the OSCE Minsk Group,” Bildt said.
He noted that the EU looks forward to the continuation of negotiations between the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents held in Moscow on July 18.
“The process of moving forward and I think that is necessary to promote this fact,” Bildt said.
