Iranian embassy presents note to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry

The note writes that ambassador Mahammad Bagir Bahrami is not in Azerbaijan and informs who acts as ambassador. Polukhov said it was a standard procedure in diplomacy. According to him, when ambassadors leave the country, where they work because of some reasons (vacation, business trip, personal affairs), they inform the Foreign Ministry about it.

Reports spread that Iranian government temporarily called back ambassador to Azerbaijan protesting against the visit of Israeli President Shimon Peres to Azerbaijan.
