Azerbaijani parliament to send protest to US Congress due to assistance to Nagorno Karabakh

"This issue is now being discussed in the parliamentary committee of international relations and interparliamentary ties and the parliamentary committee of economic policy", said Asadov at the plenary session of Milli Medjlis Tuesday.

"Nagorno Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan and assistance to it can be rendered only via Azerbaijan", noted the speaker.

In turn, MP Zahid Oruc viewed such decisions of the Congress as a form of political pressure on Azerbaijan.

"Such policy reduces the level of US-Azerbaijani relations. This also gives advantage to the Armenian diplomacy. Therefore, we should voice our protest", noted Oruc.
