26 May 2009 [13:04] - TODAY.AZ
Baku and Ankara are dissatisfied with the current level of Azerbaijani-Turkish trade turnover and are for the greater intensification of the trade and economic ties, Azerbaijan's FM Elmar Mamedyarov said.
"We are not satisfied with the level of turnover at $ 2 billion and during the negotiations we stressed the importance of taking measures to increase this figure", said the Foreign Minister at a briefing on Tuesday following negotiations with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davudoglu.

According to E. Mamedyarov, during  the talks held in Baku the foreign ministers discussed cooperation in energy, economy and culture.

"Two countries signed a total of some 150 documents, but we must stop on that", stressed the Minister.
