American experts suggest the new U.S. President Barack Obama to visit Azerbaijan, reports Novosti-Azerbaijan with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
A conference at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, organized by the Jamestown Foundation on: «Azerbaijan and the West: Strategic Partnership at the crossroads of Eurasia" was held in Washington several days ago.

Speakers at the event American experts - Professor at the University of Haifa, Brenda Shaffer, vice president of Cohen Group, Daniel Fata and the senior researcher Jamestown fund Vladimir Socor, stressed the important role of Azerbaijan in the region and the world and noted that the United States has made a number of policy failures on Azerbaijan.

Talking about the major mistakes the United States, experts noted that amenment 907 has not yet been eliminated, pointed not only at the passivity of the United States not only in the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but also at an unfair position in this matter in relation to Azerbaijan.

U.S. experts offer official Washington to cancel 907th amendment of the Freedom Support Act of Congress and to the officials including U.S. President Barack Obama to visit Azerbaijan and to sign an agreement with Azerbaijan on strategic partnership.
