Iranian gas supply to Armenia to be launched today

From today, the Iranian gas will start to be supplied to Armenia.
According to spokesman of the Ministry of Energy of Armenia Lusine Harutyunyan, all the necessary technical works were launched late last night,  the valves on the gas pipe at the Meghri-Yerevan section were opened.

According to her, the gas might start flowing to Armenia at any time.

The agreement between Armenia and Iran for the supply of gas instead of electricity is designed for 20 years.
