Etibar Mirzayev: We want some NATO exercises to be held in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan wants some NATO civil-planning exercises to be held in Azerbaijan, said Deputy Minister of Emergency situations General Major Etibar Mirzayev said at the NATO-Azerbaijan partnership’s 15th anniversary conference in Baku, APA reports. Mirzayev said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan actively participated in the NATO civil-emergency planning events. “We propose to hold some of the NATO exercises in Azerbaijan. Sea rescue, oil pipelines security and other exercises can be held in Azerbaijan”.
