Speaker of Armenian parliament: Armenian-Turkish border will open in 2009

The borders between Armenia and Turkey will open in 2009. The diplomatic relations between the two countries will be established before that, said speaker of Armenian parliament Ovik Abramyan, paying an official visit to Poland in the interview to Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita.

"The tragic events in August of 2009 connected with South Ossetia prove that the forced resolution of any conflict is inadmissible", noted he.

The speaker of the Armenian parliament announced that Yerevan is for the continuation of talks on the Karabakh resolution in frames of the OSCE Minsk Group.
