
Azerbaijan is among the states that proposed the idea of safe cooperation in front of the Organization for Islamic Conference, said Izzet Kamil Mufti, deputy secretary general on political issues of the Organization for Islamic Conference, said Tuesday at the conference of the heads of the law enforcement bodies of the OIC member-states.
"The main purpose of today's event is coordination of joint actions, aimed at combat with transnational crime, exchange of information between the OIC states in this direction, discussion of different plans of actions on the war of terror, creation of the legal basis", noted he.
He said there is a need to create a single system structure for the successful execution of all these plans.
"It is important to join efforts of all states in combat with international terrorism and transnational crime. Existence of a good network between the OIC member-states is important for making different important decision and implementation of joint measures to combat crime and terrorism. The use of this network will contribute to provision of safe cooperation", noted Mufti.
