Foundation of a new format of cooperation in OIC frames is laid in Baku: deputy FM

The whole complex of issues of combat with different types of international transnational crime is being discussed at a conference in Baku, said deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov commenting on the conference of the heads of the law enforcement bodies of the OIC member-states.

"The foundation of a new trend, a new format of cooperation in OIC frames is laid at this conference", noted he.

The deputy minister voiced hope that the contribution of this conference to combat with international challenges and transnational crime, will be successful.

"This contribution will assist to the OIC member-states in the law enforcement sphere and the sphere of combat with crime, will expand and raise effectiveness of cooperation in this direction between the members of the organization with the law enforcement bodies to act as a single mechanism in the future", said Khalafov.

A Baku declaration will be adopted by results of the conference.
