The OSCE national conference on "Cooperation between State and Public on War on Terrorism in Azerbaijan" to be held in Baku on April 21 has been canceled.

The organizers did not comment on reasons for cancellation.
The conference was to be held upon the decision of the OSCE Council of Ministers adopted in Madrid in 2007. The cooperation between civil society and press on war on terrorism, cooperation between state and public on preventing acts of terrorism against infrastructure and measures to prevent financing terrorism stood on the agenda.
Representatives of international organizations, NGOs, media and diplomatic missions were expected to take part in the conference.
