Armenian and Iranian presidents positive on results of talks on peaceful resolution of Karabakh conflict

Presidents of Armenia and Iran Serzh Sargsyan and Mahmud Ahmadinejad assessed positively the results of talks on peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict and establishment of the Armenian-Turkish political dialogue, reports the press service for the Armenian president Tuesday.

The first official visit of Armenian president Sargsyan in Iran is held on April 13-14.

"During the meeting on April 13 by request of the Iranian president Sargsyan informed Ahmadinejad on Armenian-Turkish dialogue and the recent developments of the negotiation process on the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict", says the statement.

The sides stressed importance of the resolution of all existing problems by peace, regarding cooperation, peace and stability as an important condition for welfare and prosperity of the peoples of the region.

President Sargsyan thanked the Iranian president for the constantly balanced approach in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
