Round table on modern geopolitics of Azerbaijan to be held in Paris

Head of the center under the Azerbaijani president Elkhan Nuriyev will speak as a main rapporteur on the topic "Modern geostrategy of Azerbaijan: energy security and external political pragmatism".

The round table will be attended by chief executive of the French Institute of International Relations Dominique David, French parliamentarians, famous French political scientists, economists and senior representatives of diplomatic missions, accredited in France.

Meetings of head of the center under the president of Azerbaijan Elkhan Nuriyev with head of the French Institut Choiseul Pascal Loro and head of the Paris Institute of International relations and strategic studies Pascal Bonifas.

In the framework of the meetings planned with heads of the brain centers of France the sides will discuss projects of regional concern, related to the scientific cooperation between the analytical institutes of the two countries.

The aforementioned events will involve a wide exchange of views on different issues of internal and external policy of Azerbaijan, including the analysis of the current state and prospects of development of the Azerbaijani-European and in particular Azerbaijani-French relations.

Considering the growing interest of the EU states to the South Caucasus region on the whole and to Azerbaijan in particular, the organizers of "round tables" in Paris expect lively discussions about the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, as well as today's and prospective development of political and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and France.
