Russian newly-appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin arrived in Baku, APA reports.

He would take an office after presentation of the copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and President Ilham Aliyev late in March.
Russian President appointed Vladimir Dorokhin as Ambassador Plenipotentiary and extraordinary to Azerbaijan on February 24.
Dorokhin was born in 1948 and has worked as Ambassador on Special Issues at Russian Foreign Ministry by now. He was Head of Department on UNESCO and Cultural Affairs of Ministry in 1999-2003.
Dorokhin is fluent in English, German and Hungarian and holds the diplomatic rank of the Ambassador-Counselor of the second class.
