The Azerbaijani CEC completed processing results of a referendum on amendments to the Constitution from 5160 constituencies of existing 5367, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.

According to Elections information center, by results of processing of protocols with 96% stations, the majority of Azerbaijani citizens spoke for the adoption of amendments.
The highest support received the amendment, eliminating limits of presidency -91.73$.
About 87,14%-89,14% of voters voted for the remaining amendments/
The referendum is considered valid if not less than 25% of citizens having a right of vote take part in voting, while the amendments, put for referendum, are considered adopted if 50%+1 person of those, voting in the referendum, support them.
On the whole, the referendum involved 71.08% voters.
It was proposed to introduce 41 amendment and alteration to the Constitution and there were all united into 29 points on which voters had to vote,
The initiative to introduce amendments and alterations to the Constitution and hold a referendum in this connection was proposed by Milli Medjlis deputies from the ruling party of Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, a number of oppositional parties, speaking against a number of amendments to the Constitution, called on the voters to boycott the referendum.
The referendum was observed by over 47,000 local observers, as well as 177 foreign observers including representatives of PACE, Parliamentary Assembly of CIS, CIS mission of observers, as well as a number of embassies, accredited in Azerbaijan. The referendum was highlighted by 20 foreign mass medias.
