The agenda of the plenary session of the CE Venice Commission includes conduction of a referendum on amendments to the Constitution of the country on March 18, according to the press service for the CE Baku office.

Moreover, members of the Venice Commission during the session on March 13-14 will discuss amendments to the Criminal Code of Armenia in the light of tragic March events of 2008, the legislative act on the occupied lands (Abkhazia and South Ossetia), adopted in Georgia, constitutional and legal aspects due to prohibition of the activity of political parties in Turkey.
By results of the session the commission will pass a decision on the Constitutional referendum in Albania, Constitutional changes in Georgia, draft law on freedom of access to information in Armenia, on the law on Constitutional court of Palestine.
Reports on the status of world recognized observers of elections and on European standards regarding independence of the judicial system will also be adopted.
