The Yurddash party has appointed observers for the process of a referendum in Azerbaijan due to introduction of amendments to the Constitution, accoridng to party chairman Mais Safarli.

He said 50 observers were registered in the district electoral commissions. Moreover, the party is planning to hold a monitoring.
"Along with observations, the party also held a poll in Baku, Sumgayit, Lenkoran and Shirvan that was attended by over 35,000 citizens of the country.
By results of the poll, most voters support holding a referendum, including amendments planned to the Constitution", noted he.
Notably, the referendum on amendments to the Constitution is planned to be held on March 18.
