Anne Derse: "The United States will build their policy in the Caucasus on the basis of intensive diplomacy"

The Caucasus region is of special for Washington and the United States see its further external policy based on intensive diplomacy, said US ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Azerbaijan Anne Derse.
"Azerbaijan is our important partner", said the ambassador speaking of the changes expected in the Azerbaijani-American relations due to the election of Barack Obama as the US president and the influence of the further bilateral cooperation between Baku and Washington on the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.

According to Derse, the new president and US Secretary of State Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton pay much attention to the development of the diplomatic sphere in their speeches regarding the further external political course of the White House.
