Armenian Assembly of America Regional Director: "The Turkish and Azeri lobbies in the U.S. are now trying not to fall behind the Armenian activists"

"Nevertheless, it’s not enough to grade up to the professionalism of our lobby, the Assembly works for worldwide recognition of the Armenian Genocide," Ms. Arpi Vartanian told a news conference in Yerevan today.

She also informed that March 1-3 the Assembly will organize a conference with participation of renowned representatives of the Armenian community. "Our goal is to hold a series of meetings and consultations with the Congressmen in so-called Armenian congressional districts and remind them of the urgency of Armenian Genocide recognition," Ms. Vartanian said.
