Serzh Sargsyan: "The fairy-tales told by some persons, allegedly under certain pressure we can make unilateral compromises in the matter of the Karabakh conflict settlement, are incorrect"

Armenia's position on the Karabakh conflict settlement remains strict and categorical - Armenia has to get international recognition of the right of Nagorno Karabakh people for self-determination, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said over the meeting with representatives of Armenian Diaspora of Switzerland in Z?rich.

As press-service of the president told ArmInfo, over the meeting the president told representatives of the Armenian community about his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Davos within the frames of the World Economic Forum. The talks on the Karabakh conflict settlement continued at the meeting. "We shall also gain international recognition of the right of the Nagorno Karabakh people for self-determination. You may be sure we have no other task. And the fairy-tales told by some persons, allegedly under certain pressure we can make unilateral compromises in the matter of the Karabakh conflict settlement, are incorrect. We cannot sacrifice our pan-national issue and national aspiration for the love of resolving of some secondary tasks", Serzh Sargsyan said.
