President of Azerbaijan holds several meetings in Davos

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a number of meetings at the Kongress hotel in Davos, according to AzerTac.
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Thomas Mirow met at the Kongress Hotel.

They expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and EBRD and exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral relations.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also met with Senior Vice President of Microsoft Corp. and President of Microsoft International Jean-Philippe Courtois in Congress Hotel, Davos.

Azerbaijan`s recent economic achievements were stressed at the meeting. The Head of State described development of the non-oil sector including the ICT as one of the priority areas. Accomplishments have already been achieved in this sphere.

Current state and future prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Microsoft Corp. were also discussed during the meeting.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha in the Congress hotel, Davos.

The sides said bilateral relations are developing in various spheres. According to them, there are good potential for economic cooperation between the two countries. They found the need to study economic opportunities between the two nations.
