Vahdat party not to create separate initiative group on referendum

He said the party intends to join any agitation group, created by a number of political and public organizations due to support of amendments to the Constitution.

Under decision of the political council, Vahdat party will take an active part in a referendum. We will hold agitation campaign on the sites and in regions and take part in all events to be organized by the Yeni Azerbaijan ruling party.

After the agitation groups are registered in the Central Electoral Commission, we will define which agitation group the party should cooperate with", noted he.

Notably, the referendum on amendments to the Azerbaijani Constitution is planned to be held on March 18 of this year.
