Armenia pollutes Debet River, flowing through Georgian villages, where Azerbaijanis reside, with toxic substances

Toxic substances were registered in Debet River, which runs from Armenia and passed through Marneuli, Georgia, where Azerbaijani live densely, the residents of several villages told APA local bureau.
The residents observed that colour of rive had become white recently. To them, white colour appeared on the surface of plots irrigated by the river. They have appealed to relevant bodies of Georgia, but measures were not taken on elimination of toxic substances. They said that Armenian-owned copper field pollutes Debet River.
