Azerbaijan attends session of executive committee of OIC Parliamentary assembly on events in Gaza

A session of the executive committee of the OIC Parliamentary assembly, convened by initiative of chairman of the Turkish parliament Keksal Toptan on the recent events in Gaza, opened in Istanbul.
Day.Az reports with reference to Turkish Cihan news agency that the event is attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Egypt, Mali, Iran, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Chad and other countries.

12 representatives of the parliament, 5 vice speakers and 105 representatives of 24 countries are attending the session. While opening the session, Toptan said a horrible tragedy occurs in Gaza. He stressed the need to restore peace in the region.

The session is going on. By results of the session the parties will adopt a joint declaration.
