OIC Parliamentary Union to analyze Israel's assault into Gaza

Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Keksan Toptan has convened an urgent session of the executive committee of the parliamentary union of the Organization of Islamic Conference, reports Day.Az with reference to Turkish Cihan.

The event will be held in Istanbul on January 14 and Israel’s assault against Palestine will be analyzed.

Toptan has sent invitations to heads of parliaments of the OIC states. During the session there is a plan to find the way out of the established situation by using the capabilities of parliament diplomacy.

The executive committee of the parliamentary union including 50 countries, comprises Turkey, Niger, Egypt, Mali, Azerbaijan, Iran, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Chad and Benin.
